Desiring God's presence
Jesus said in John 4:23 that 'the Father is seeking worshippers, who worship Him in spirit and in truth'. That is why at Via Apostolica Regina worship is an important aspect of our services and daily lives. You will experience worship in various forms, through songs, prayers and the sacraments in our services. As Jesus comanded His disciples to celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's supper we are seeing it as the highpoint of our worship experience and expecting to meet with our Lord in those times.
We are committed to spending time in His presence. We gather together regularly as a community for times of worship and prayer. We make space for His presence, and we aren’t in a hurry to ‘move on’. As individuals and as a community we’re committed to making a priority of the living and active presence of God in our daily lives.
We walk this passion out in the following ways:
- Gathering together regularly to worship through song and the sacraments
- Taking time to wait on God in prayer
- Prayer Vigils
- Disciple our families in the area of worship through active participation
- Incorporating prayer and worship in every aspect of church life, including Via Kids
